UNIPOD recently hosted a group of secondary school students from Ecole De Sciences de Byimana . The visit included a tour of all ten labs, showcasing cutting-edge technologies in mechanics, design, textiles, and more. Additionally, students participated in fireside chats with UR-CST student leaders and successful UR GIIH startups, gaining valuable insights into university life, innovation and entrepreneurship.
UNIPOD’s acting Director, Miss. Jacqueline Mukayiranga, welcomed the students and expressed her delight at their visit. She promised a follow-up visit where students would have a hands-on experience with the various machines in the labs, further encouraging exploration and learning. UNIPOD is committed to hosting more secondary schools in the future and providing students with opportunities to engage with innovation and entrepreneurship.
