An Exhibition on Space Exploration and Student Hackathon by Spring Institute.

UNIPOD recently hosted the captivating “Moving Museum” exhibition in collaboration with the Spring Institute for Forests on the Moon and FabLab Rwanda. Within UNIPOD’s space, visitors embarked on a celestial journey, exploring the origins of our planet and the mysteries of cosmic neighbors.

The Spring Institute for Forests on the Moon organized a Hackathon on Space Engineering, Biology, and Art, where participants to devised innovative solutions to space exploration challenges. Notably, Rwandan teams excelled, with The Stellars winning the Living Forest Challenge and The Moon Nest securing victory in the Cosy Home Challenge.

The Living Forest Challenge, held at UnIPod, focused on forecasting forest growth over centuries. Participants with expertise in forestry, geospatial data processing, and modeling were invited to analyze forest dynamics and extract vital parameters. These collaborative efforts underscore UNIPOD’s commitment to shaping sustainable ecosystems on Earth and beyond. Stay tuned for more exciting endeavors!
