The ShopBot 5-axis is a large-format gantry CNC router with a tilting / rotating spindle head, capable of complex contour cuts on wood, foam, plastics and machinable composites. It pairs with ShopBot Control software and is well suited for furniture, mould-making and architectural prototypes.
Typical use: 3D contour and undercut machining of wood, foam and composite blanks for student and research projects.
